According to the survey, at present, there are thousands of enterprises producing wooden chopsticks in China, and the annual consumption of wood resources is nearly 5 million cubic meters.These chopsticks account for 10.5 percent of the 47.58 million cubic meters of timber harvested nationwide each year. In chopstick production, wood is used at an effective rate of 60 percent, from logs to blocks to finished products.

    The impact of batteries on the environment has become one of the hottest topics in the domestic media.Some reports say that batteries are so bad for the environment that one battery can pollute as much as 60,000 cubic meters of water.Some even claim that waste batteries can cause minamata disease in Japan, and one unit of waste No. 5 batteries can cause one square meter of land to be wasted.     Basel Convention on the Control of transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and their disposal, and convention on the Prevention of Marine Pollution by the Dumping of Wastes and other Substances.

The United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, the 1978 Protocol to the 1973 International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships, the Protocol to intervene on the High Seas when substances other than oil cause pollution, the International Convention on The Control of Whaling, and the International Convention on Civil Liability for Oil Pollution Damage.
